Stanley Lewis Plumbing & Heating has offered plumbing careers in Brooklyn since 1973. We've repaired boilers, heating and cooling systems, and plumbing here since day one. Stanley B. Lewis founded the company. His son, Alex Lewis, now runs it as Owner/President.

We're a second-generation, family-run company based in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn — not a franchise, not a national chain. Our crews work on brownstones, pre-war multifamily buildings, commercial properties, and the cast iron stacks and shared drain lines that come with them.

Our crews handle plumbing, heating, cooling, gas services, and sewer & drain work throughout Brooklyn and the five boroughs. That means steam and hydronic boiler repair, mini-split and AC installs, backflow prevention, and water heater installs on one job, violation removal on the next. That includes Local Law 152 gas piping inspections, one of the more code-heavy parts of the job. It's varied work, on residential and commercial jobs alike, and it takes people who can handle more than one kind of job.

Our team includes a NYC Licensed Master Plumber (#2296) and HVAC technicians. We're licensed in New Jersey (#4238) and hold a NYC Home Improvement Contractor license (#1107759). Our team also includes the office and dispatch staff who keep a high-volume trades business running day to day. The work moves fast, the phone doesn't stop, and the standards don't slip — whether you're turning a wrench or managing the schedule. This isn't remote work.
