Who You're Reaching
Stanley Lewis Plumbing & Heating has worked out of Brooklyn since 1973. Alex Lewis, the company's second-generation owner and a Licensed Master Plumber, runs the shop today.
Our team holds NYC Master Plumber license #2296 and an NYC H.I.C. license. We're also certified for backflow prevention, fire sprinkler work, and Local Law 152 gas piping inspections. In fact, you can verify our license status directly with the NYC Department of Buildings. Or see the full list on our licenses and certifications page.
In short, the approach hasn't changed since Stanley started the company: a fair price, an honest answer, a finished job.
Where We Work
We work across Brooklyn and the five boroughs. For instance, many of the buildings we service are brownstone or pre-war multifamily. Cast iron stacks and steam or hydronic boiler systems are the norm there, not the exception. Also, if you're not sure whether we cover your address, just ask when you reach out to Stanley Lewis Plumbing & Heating.
What Happens After You Reach Out
A member of our team reviews what you send, confirms the scope, and connects you with a licensed technician. Then, we handle plumbing, gas, heating, sewer and drain, backflow prevention, and fire sprinkler work. We also serve both residential and commercial buildings across Brooklyn and the five boroughs. That includes everything from a single-family brownstone to a multi-unit co-op.
