How much does the inspection cost?

At Stanley Lewis Plumbing, we employ a formula that includes building size, number of units, meters, length of pipe, and other variables. Our minimum charge for this service is $750. Call us to discuss group discounts

How often do I need this inspection?

Every four (4) years

Is there a penalty for non-compliance?

Yes. Up to $5,000

What if I need repairs?

You must submit, within 180 days of the inspection, an Inspection Certification signed and sealed by a licensed master plumber stating that all conditions have been corrected

Correction of conditions identified in the Inspection Report must be performed in compliance with the NYC Construction Codes, including obtaining any required work permits

Local Law 152 is a gas safety law. The law requires the inspection of gas piping systems on behalf of building owners by a licensed master plumber or by an individual under the direct and continuing supervision of a licensed master plumber. The law requires re-inspection, every four years.
